Cocktail Parties Photographs are something that you keep forever. Visual memories that are hard to replace. I try to make the process of bringing you these great memories as simple as possible. All packages include: my time, talent, and travel (additional fees may apply) plus online proofs of your photo session. In addition, you also receive full print release on your images and a DVD containing all of your negatives. Sessions last anywhere from one to two hours at the location or locations of your choice.Proofs are available within twenty-one days of your photo session. For weddings, proofs are available forty-five days from your wedding day. Proofs are enhanced and edited to provide you with the very best from our time together.Images remain on the proofing gallery for three months, after which point they are archived. The studio is not responsible for images after three months. In addition, we also offer wonderful ways to preserve your images from your time with us so that you can enjoy them time and time again. From albums, photo jewlrey, wall canvases, iPhone cases, custom collages, personalized announcements and photo cards, magnets and much much more... you will LOVE our products that give your images the spotlight treatment they deserve. For specific pricing information, please use the contact me form found on the "contact" tab at the top of the page. Your request will be answered within 48 hours. Standard Sessions start at $250 and wedding coverage begins at $1175.Lindsay Alexander is available for travel worldwide.

Wedding and Reception What does lifestyle photography mean?Lifestyle photography is my favorite kind of photography. Its the perfect marriage between casually posed images and those awesome images where the person did not even know I had a camera pointed at them. It gives you lots of variety to your final product and truly allows me to create art during our time together. While I follow a more contemporary photojournalistic approach, I do understand the need for structured photographs for certain events. My goal is to simply capture life, relationships and those precious moments that we treasure forever in the best way I can.Do you shoot in a studio:The outdoors is the best studio on the planet. I prefer to shoot in nature but if your event calls for an indoor shoot, I am more than happy to accommodate.What should we expect from you as our photographer:You should expect a fun and positive attitude- quick turnaround- a joyful session experience- thorough, organized, and detailed communication-wonderful images to enjoy for years to come. My ultimate goal is to provide you with unique images that truly tell a story. For our time together to be tons of fun. If my cheeks hurt from smiling so much at the end of our session, I know I have done my job. What should we wear:I am a huge fan of color. It makes your photos pop and adds personality. Try to avoid crazy patterns, lots of black and white and anything "matchy matchy." VARIETY is key. Bring as many outfits as you want. Hats, scarfs and bare feet are always a great accessory. Still having a tough time? Check out the blog and see what others have done. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.What happens in the event of bad weather or illness:On the day of your shoot we will assess the situation. In the event of weather, overcast skys can be a good thing but heavy rain can be a disaster. Should the weather prohibit me from capturing the best pictures possible, we will reschedule your shoot for a later date. The same goes for illness. If one of us is less than our best for the shoot, we will reschedule for a better day. For all other cancellations, be sure to refer to the "payments" tab. Do you charge a travel fee:Yes, I do. For shoots or weddings outside the surrounding area there is a travel fee. What is a DVD slideshow:The slideshow scrolls through 20-30 pictures from your shoot. Set to music, this slideshow is a great keepsake to show friends and family. They make great gifts too!Do you offer album options or any cool products:Yes, I do. I have several album options that you can choose from to fit your needs. Albums are designed in-house and take up to three months to complete. I also have a full product catalog with lots of great options for your images. Contact the studio and one will be sent to you. Do you offer anything special for returning customers:I sure do. All returning customers receive 15% off the current session fee at the time of booking. Do you ever run any specials or promotions:Yes, I do. I always list my current promotions on my blog and e-mail previous customers to keep them in the loop. If you are ever curious about specials and promotions feel free to contact me. Do you shoot newborns:Why yes! There is nothing like a new babe. Newborn photos are typically taken in your home within the babies first two weeks. Newborn shoots typically last anywhere from one to three hours, depending on the mood of your baby and the babes schedule. I ask that newborns are fed and changed so that your baby is ready for pictures when I arrive. The more content the baby, the better the pictures- the better the pictures, the happier the mama!Beginning in 2012, we will be offering "in studio" photography newborn sessions. Private Dining For standard sessions, your photos will be available within fourteen days of your photo session. For weddings, your photos will be available forty-five days from your wedding day. You will receive an e-mail link to view your photos at that time.All online proofs are password protected and can be viewed through my secure online gallery site.You can place your online order for your prints at that time.Prints will ship directly to your door. All orders placed in the first ten days receive 10% off the total cost. Once the site becomes in-active, there is an additional fee to place print orders through the studio. Growing up I always dreamed of staring on Broadway, dancing in the New York City Ballet and traveling the world as a famous country singer. While I had my fair share of good times in local theater, danced in a relatively prestigious dance academy and spent some time in a Nashville recording studio, the dreams I had created for myself as a young girl molded into a different shape then I had envisioned. While I still sing show tunes in the shower, practice my pirouettes in the living room and bust into song while driving down the road, my greatest passion is photography and no matter how old I get or how seasons may change, I can hold tight to what is forever. An image I captured that suspends time.So how did I come to this? Well, art of any kind has always been prevalent in my life. Not only appreciation for the end product but a fascination with the skill involved. I have been surrounded by incredibly gifted people who have impressed upon me the beauty that lies within creating something of your own. Whether it was with my grandma when I was little drawing pictures at the kitchen table, sitting with my brother as he composed a beautiful piece of music or helping my mom in the kitchen as she made the perfect pie, I always knew that I too had a vision to share.After my son was born I truly felt a stirring in my heart to put my beliefs of creativity to use. I traded in my tutu and decided to jump feet first into a world that before I had only dipped my toes into. Classifying myself as an “amateur with heart”, I began taking advantage of every opportunity that came my way. I became addicted to my craft and fortunately, like with anything you have fun with, the more addicted I became the better my images were. I was seeing the world differently and capturing moments that tugged on my heart strings. What started out as just something to do “for fun” turned into one of the greatest blessings of my life.My philosophy on photography may be different than what you are used to. I truly love to capture the fleeting moments, the memories that pass us by the moment they occur. I treasure authenticity in all its forms and work my way into finding “real” moments for my clients. Life is not flawless, staged and perfectly posed. If you tend to like images with backdrops, matching outfits and cookie cutter posing, I am most likely not the photographer for you. I strive to tell stories with my images and give you a tangible time capsule that you can treasure for many years to come.I absolutely LOVE what I do and I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people who have come into my life because of the amazing opportunities that God places in my lap. I have been blessed beyond measure and I know that to whom much is given, much is required!So here you have it, the naked truth: I am a sinner in love with my Savior and owe everything to Him. My husband is my rock and I know that God perfectly matched me with a man of humility to keep me grounded each day. My son is the joy of my life. He never ceases to make me laugh and keeps me on my toes, literally. I am obsessed with music and love Friday night jam sessions in our living room. It seems like I consume more dessert during my day than healthy food options. Woops! I love a good chick flick paired with a yummy cup of coffee. I wear pink Converse, have a large collection of hats and can be found most days in a white t-shirt and pair of jeans. I have a thing for run-on sentences and endless commas (all teachers and grammar junkies please dont hate, I was a vocal performance/communications major). Yellow makes me happy. Hydrangeas are my favorite. I have the tendency to be OCD although by the looks of my kitchen floor you would never know that. I am learning, constantly growing AND when I grow up I want to change the world!I would be honored to work with you and look forward to hearing from you soon!
